The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong litigation skills.Duties:Handle and develop strategy for complex Personal Injury cases, including trucking and catastrophic injury cases.Work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment to represent clients effectively.Attend and represent clients in all case-related settings, including mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings, trials, and client interactions.Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients and provide legal guidance.Analyze legal and medical data to determine insurance coverage, liability, damages, and overall case strategy.Conduct research, guide clients, and prepare details in preparation for case-related events.Develop settlement brochures, strategies, and arguments for case presentations.Ensure legal compliance concerning disbursements and settlement funds.Utilize available technology effectively to perform job duties.Establish and build relationships with other professionals in the communities served to enhance brand recognition, marketing efforts, and client service.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited college or university.Membership in the NC State Bar (additional State Bar memberships a plus).10+ years of civil litigation experience.Lead Attorney experience in successfully litigating complex personal injury cases to verdict in state and federal court.Extensive independent judgment to make decisions with substantial impact on the department.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited college or university.Certifications:Membership in the NC State Bar (additional State Bar memberships a plus).Skills:Strong litigation and trial experience.Ability to develop case strategies and handle complex personal injury cases.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with keen attention to detail.Highly self-motivated and directed.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
